Welcome Friends! It's an exciting day as it's the first Stampers Showcase Blog Hop of 2022! This month, our focus is on all things Sale-a-Bration! We're already a month in and if you haven't yet earned your FREE Sale-a-Bration rewards, then maybe today's hop will inspire you.
For my project, I decided to use the Level 2 reward, Friendly Hello stamp set & Friendly Hello 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper. I also wanted to try to keep it mostly monochromatic.
Card Measurements:
Pool Party card stock base: 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Designer Series Paper: 4" x 1"
Pool Party: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Basic White: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Basic White: 3" x 2"
Card Details:
Cut card base and score at 4 1/4", fold and burnish with Bone Folder.
In Pool Party Ink, stamp leafy sprig three times in upper left corner.
Attach strip of Designer Series Paper to centre of card base using Stampin' Seal.
Cut Pool Party card stock with largest circle die from Layering Circle Dies pack. Cut Basic White with the second largest scalloped circle die.
On Basic White scalloped circle, stamp bird image in Sahara Sand ink, stamped off once on scrap paper. Colour image with Pool Party Blends to create "no line watercolour" look. Add Wink of Stella to bird and flowers. Attach this circle to the Pool Party circle using Seal and then attach over Designer Series Paper with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Using an every day paper hole punch, punch the folded edge of the card, about 1" from the bottom to create a slit. Feed Pool Party Sheer Ribbon through the hole, wrap around card front and tie with a bow on the left side of the card. Tie a length of White Bakers Twine around the bow's knot.
On Basic White, stamp sentiment in Pool Party ink. Use Paper Snips to cut out and attach over ribbon, aligned to the right, with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Sprinkle Iridescent Rhinestones on card to complete.
